π©βπ³ Instructions
- Prepare the Pan
Preheat your oven to 350Β°F (180Β°C).
Grease and lightly flour a loaf or cake pan to prevent the cake from sticking. - Beat the Eggs & Sugar π₯
In a large mixing bowl, beat the eggs and sugar for several minutes until the mixture becomes lighter in color and slightly fluffy. - Add the Wet Ingredients
Add the melted butter or vegetable oil, milk, and vanilla extract.
Mix until everything is well combined. - Add the Dry Ingredients
Sift the flour, baking powder, and salt together.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing just until combined and no large lumps remain.
Do not overmix to keep the cake light and fluffy. - Make the Chocolate Batter π«
Divide the batter evenly into two portions.
Leave one portion as the vanilla batter.
To the second portion, add the cocoa powder and approximately 3 tablespoons of milk. Mix until smooth and evenly combined. - Create the Marble Effect β¨
Pour alternating spoonfuls of vanilla and chocolate batter into the prepared pan.
Once all the batter is added, gently swirl a knife or skewer through the batter in a spiral motion.
π‘ Tip: Don’t over-swirl! A few gentle movements will create a beautiful marble pattern. - Bake π₯
Bake for 40β50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Baking time may vary depending on the size and type of pan. - Cool
Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool in the pan for 10β15 minutes.
Carefully remove it from the pan and transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely.
π Serve & Enjoy!
