Classic Southern Peach Pie

Ingredients

1 unbaked 9-inch pie crust

5–6 fresh peaches, peeled and sliced

¾ cup sugar

2 tbsp brown sugar

2 tbsp cornstarch

1 tbsp lemon juice

1 tsp vanilla extract

½ tsp cinnamon

1 tbsp butter, dotted

Instructions

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

In a bowl, gently toss peaches with sugars, cornstarch, lemon juice, vanilla, and cinnamon.

Pour filling into pie crust and dot with butter.

Cover with top crust or lattice; seal edges.

Bake 45–50 minutes, until crust is golden and filling is bubbly.

Cool before slicing.

Juicy, fragrant, and pure Southern sunshine in a slice.
