๐ŸŒฟโœจ 2-Ingredient Aloe Vera & Sea Moss Face Mask

Ingredients

1 tablespoon pure aloe vera gel โ€” preferably fragrance-free and suitable for facial use

1 tablespoon sea moss gel โ€” plain, unsweetened, and free from added fragrances or essential oils

Instructions

1. Prepare your skin

Start with a clean face. Gently wash your skin with a mild cleanser and pat dry with a clean towel. Avoid applying the mask to irritated, broken, or sunburned skin.

2. Make the mask

Add 1 tablespoon of aloe vera gel and 1 tablespoon of sea moss gel to a small, clean glass bowl.

3. Mix thoroughly

Using a clean spoon, stir the two ingredients together for about 30โ€“60 seconds, until they are evenly combined and have a smooth, gel-like consistency.

4. Apply the mask

Using clean fingertips or a clean cosmetic brush, spread a thin, even layer over your face. Avoid the eye area, eyelids, lips, and nostrils.

5. Let it sit

Leave the mask on for approximately 10 minutes. You may experience a slight cooling or tightening sensation, but it should not burn or cause significant discomfort.

6. Rinse gently

Rinse your face thoroughly with lukewarm water. Gently pat your skin dry rather than rubbing it.

7. Finish your routine

Apply a simple, fragrance-free moisturizer afterward if your skin feels dry. During the daytime, finish with sunscreen.

How Often to Use

For a simple routine, start with 1โ€“2 times per week and see how your skin responds. This mask is intended to leave the skin feeling soft, refreshed, and hydrated; it is not a guaranteed treatment for wrinkles, dark spots, or other skin conditions.

Important Notes

Patch test first: Apply a small amount to an inconspicuous area and wait to check for irritation before using it on your face.

Stop using it if you experience burning, swelling, persistent redness, or significant irritation.

Use fresh, clean utensils when preparing the mixture.

If using homemade sea moss gel, keep it refrigerated and follow safe food-storage practices.

Do not add lemon juice, baking soda, essential oils, or other harsh ingredients to this facial mask.

If you have a known skin condition or very sensitive skin, consider asking a dermatologist before trying new DIY skincare ingredients.
