✨ Homemade Baking Soda Skin Paste

Ingredients
1 teaspoon baking soda
1–2 teaspoons lukewarm water
Optional Aftercare
A small amount of fragrance-free moisturizer
🧴 How to Make It
Start with a clean, dry bowl.
Add 1 teaspoon of baking soda.
Slowly add 1 teaspoon of lukewarm water.
Mix with a clean spoon until the ingredients form a smooth, thin paste.
If the mixture is too thick, add a few drops of water at a time until you reach a spreadable consistency.
Do not make the mixture overly watery.
✨ How to Use
Wash your face gently with a mild cleanser and pat it dry.
Before applying it to your face, perform a patch test on a small area of skin.
If there is no irritation, apply a very thin layer to a small area of clean skin.
Keep it away from the eyes, eyelids, lips, and broken or irritated skin.
For the first use, leave it on for only 1–2 minutes.
Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water.
Pat your skin dry gently—do not rub.
Finish with a simple, fragrance-free moisturizer.
⚠️ Important Notes
Baking soda is alkaline and can disrupt the skin barrier or cause dryness and irritation.
Do not scrub the mixture aggressively into the skin.
Do not use it on sunburned, damaged, inflamed, or freshly shaved skin.
Stop immediately if you experience burning, significant redness, itching, or discomfort.
This is not a proven treatment for wrinkles, dark circles, or dark spots, and the dramatic before-and-after effect shown in the original image should not be presented as a guaranteed result.
For sensitive skin, it is safer to avoid baking soda on the face altogether.
🌿 Simple Self-Care Tip
For everyday facial care, gentle cleansing, moisturizer, and daily sunscreen are generally more appropriate than harsh DIY ingredients. This baking-soda mixture should be treated as an occasional DIY experiment, not a medical or anti-aging treatment.
