For the dough:
2 ripe bananas, mashed
2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon instant yeast
½ teaspoon salt
¼ cup warm milk
2 tablespoons melted butter
1 large egg
For the filling:
½ cup chocolate spread or Nutella
½ cup chocolate chips
For brushing:
1 tablespoon melted butter
Instructions
In a large bowl, mash the bananas until smooth.
Add the warm milk, melted butter, egg, and sugar. Mix well.
Add the flour, instant yeast, and salt. Mix until a soft dough forms.
Knead the dough for about 5–7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
Cover and let the dough rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
Roll the dough into a rectangle.
Spread the chocolate evenly over the dough and sprinkle with chocolate chips.
Roll it tightly into a log, then cut into individual rolls.
Place the rolls in a greased baking dish and let them rest for about 20–30 minutes.
Brush the tops with melted butter.
Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 20–25 minutes, or until golden brown.
Let them cool slightly and serve warm. 🍌🍫
Tip: For an extra chocolatey finish, drizzle melted chocolate over the warm rolls before serving.
