Ingredients
1 small potato, peeled
1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
1 tablespoon plain unsweetened yogurt
1 teaspoon raw honey
1–2 teaspoons warm water or milk, as needed
2–3 drops vitamin E oil (optional)
👩🍳 Full Instructions
- Prepare the potato
Peel the potato and cut it into small pieces. Place it in a small saucepan with enough water to cover it. - Cook until soft
Boil the potato for approximately 10–15 minutes, or until it becomes very soft and can easily be mashed with a fork. - Mash thoroughly
Drain the potato and let it cool for a few minutes. Mash it until completely smooth. For an extra-smooth mask, you can press it through a fine sieve. - Add the yogurt
Add 1 tablespoon of plain unsweetened yogurt to the mashed potato. Mix well until the texture becomes creamy. - Add olive oil
Add 1 tablespoon of extra-virgin olive oil and stir slowly until the oil is fully incorporated into the mixture. - Add honey
Add 1 teaspoon of honey and mix everything together until you have a smooth, creamy paste. - Adjust the texture
If the mixture is too thick, add 1 teaspoon of warm water or milk at a time until it reaches a soft, spreadable consistency. - Optional vitamin E
If desired, add 2–3 drops of vitamin E oil and mix thoroughly. - Cool before applying
Allow the mixture to cool completely to a comfortable temperature. Never apply a hot mixture to your skin. - Apply the mask
Start with clean, dry skin. Apply a thin, even layer to your hands or face, avoiding the eye and lip areas. - Relax
Leave the mask on for approximately 10–15 minutes. Allow it to dry naturally without rubbing or scrubbing the skin. - Rinse gently
Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water and gently pat the skin dry with a clean towel. - Moisturize
Finish with your favorite gentle moisturizer to help keep the skin feeling comfortable and hydrated.
