    πŸ‘©β€πŸ³ Instructions
    1️⃣ Cook the chayotes
Wash the chayotes and cook them whole in salted water for 20–30 minutes, until tender but still firm. Let them cool slightly.
    2️⃣ Prepare the chayotes
Cut each chayote in half lengthwise and remove the seed. Carefully scoop out some of the flesh, leaving a thick shell.
    3️⃣ Prepare the filling
Chop the removed flesh and mix it with the ham and grated cheese. Add a little black pepper.
    4️⃣ Stuff & coat
Generously fill each chayote half. You can join two filled halves together. Coat with flour, then beaten egg, and finally breadcrumbs if using.
    5️⃣ Fry until golden πŸ”₯
Heat the oil and fry the stuffed chayotes on both sides until golden and crispy. Place them on paper towels to remove excess oil.
    6️⃣ Serve & enjoy! 😍
Serve hot while the cheese is beautifully melted and delicious!
