πŸ‘©β€πŸ³ Instructions

  1. Make the Dough
In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, instant yeast, and salt. Add the warm milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla. Mix until a soft dough forms.
Knead the dough for about 8–10 minutes, until smooth and elastic. Cover and let it rest in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
  2. Roll Out the Dough
Place the dough on a lightly floured surface and roll it into a large rectangle, approximately ΒΌ inch (6 mm) thick.
  3. Add the Filling
Spread the chocolate-hazelnut spread evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
Sprinkle the chopped roasted hazelnuts evenly over the chocolate.
  4. Roll
Starting from one long side, carefully roll the dough into a tight log. Pinch the seam gently to seal it.
  5. Slice
Using a sharp knife, cut the log into 8–10 thick pieces. Place the rolls cut-side up on a parchment-lined baking tray, leaving a little space between them.
Cover loosely and let them rest for another 20–30 minutes.
  6. Brush
Whisk together 1 egg and 1 tablespoon of milk. Brush the tops of the rolls generously with the egg wash.
Sprinkle with a little extra chopped hazelnuts if desired.
  7. Bake
Preheat the oven to 350Β°F (180Β°C).
Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the rolls are puffed and beautifully golden brown.
  8. Serve
Remove from the oven and let them cool for 5–10 minutes.
Serve warm and enjoy the soft pastry, rich chocolate filling, and crunchy hazelnuts. 🍫🌰🀎
πŸ’‘ Tip: For an extra glossy finish, brush the warm rolls lightly with a little melted butter after baking.
