Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 2 cups of macaroni
- 2 cans of diced tomatoes
- 4 cups of beef broth
- 1 tsp of dried basil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
- In a large pot, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain any excess fat.
- Add the onion and garlic to the pot and cook until softened.
- Stir in the macaroni, diced tomatoes, beef broth, basil, salt, and pepper.
- Bring the soup to a boil and then reduce the heat to low.
- Cover and simmer for 15-20 minutes or until the macaroni is cooked through.
