Strawberry Cheesecake

Ingredients:

  • 1 pack of graham crackers (for the crust)
  • 1/4 cup butter (melted)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 block cream cheese (8 oz)
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 jar strawberry jam or fresh strawberries
  • Fresh strawberries for topping
  • Powdered sugar for dusting (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the crust: In a food processor, crush the graham crackers into fine crumbs. Mix with melted butter until combined. Press the mixture into the bottom of a square baking dish or pan to form a crust. Chill in the fridge for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Prepare the filling: In a bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form. In another bowl, mix the cream cheese with powdered sugar and vanilla extract until smooth. Gently fold in the whipped cream to make a fluffy mixture.
  3. Assemble the cheesecake: Spread the cream cheese mixture over the chilled crust. Smooth the top evenly.
  4. Add the topping: Pour strawberry jam over the cheesecake, or spread fresh strawberries on top. You can also sprinkle some powdered sugar on top for an extra touch.
  5. Chill: Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight for the best results.
  6. Serve: Slice into squares and enjoy the creamy, fruity delight!
