Pickled Beets Recipe

    • Sterilize a jar by washing it thoroughly or boiling it in water. Pack the sliced beets into the jar, leaving about an inch of space at the top.
    • Add the garlic clove (optional) for extra flavor.
  1. Pour the Brine:
    • Pour the hot brine over the beets in the jar, ensuring they are fully covered. You may need to gently tap the jar to release any air bubbles.
    • Seal the jar with a tight-fitting lid.
  2. Refrigerate:
    • Let the jar cool to room temperature before refrigerating. Allow the beets to pickle in the fridge for at least 24 hours before serving, but for best flavor, let them sit for up to 3 days.

Enjoy your homemade pickled beets as a tasty side dish or snack!
