Pancake Recipe

This is a simple and delicious pancake recipe, perfect for breakfast or a sweet treat! The pancakes are soft and fluffy, and when topped with syrup, they’re absolutely irresistible.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon of sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 teaspoon of baking powder
  • 1 cup of milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tablespoons of melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix the flour, sugar, salt, and baking powder together.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract.
  3. Combine the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients, stirring until just mixed (it’s okay if the batter is a bit lumpy).
  4. Heat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat and lightly grease it with butter or oil.
  5. Pour about 1/4 cup of batter onto the skillet for each pancake. Cook until bubbles form on the surface, then flip and cook until the other side is golden brown.
  6. Serve with maple syrup, honey, or your favorite toppings.
