🍯✨ Homemade Honey & Aloe Hand Care Gel

Ingredients
2 tablespoons pure aloe vera gel
1 tablespoon raw honey
1 tablespoon flaxseed gel
1 teaspoon sweet almond oil or jojoba oil
1 teaspoon glycerin
½ teaspoon fresh lemon juice — optional
2–3 drops vitamin E oil — optional
🥣 How to Make It

  1. Prepare the base
Add the aloe vera gel to a clean glass bowl. Stir gently until it becomes smooth and free of lumps.
  2. Add the honey
Add 1 tablespoon of honey and mix thoroughly. Honey gives the mixture a naturally smooth, rich texture.
  3. Add the flaxseed gel
Add 1 tablespoon of prepared flaxseed gel and stir until everything is evenly combined.
  4. Add the moisturizing ingredients
Mix in the glycerin and sweet almond oil or jojoba oil. If using vitamin E oil, add it at this stage as well.
  5. Optional lemon juice
If you choose to use lemon juice, add only ½ teaspoon and mix well. Because lemon juice can irritate some skin and make skin more sensitive to sunlight, it can simply be left out.
  6. Mix until creamy
Whisk everything together for about 1–2 minutes until you have a smooth, glossy gel-like mixture.
    🤲 How to Use
Wash and dry your hands first. Apply a small amount of the gel to the backs of your hands, fingers, and around the nails. Massage gently in circular motions for 2–3 minutes until most of the mixture is absorbed.
For extra moisture, apply a slightly thicker layer before bedtime and leave it on overnight.
    ⏰ How Often?
Use 2–3 times per week, or whenever your hands feel dry. For daytime use, especially if your hands are exposed to the sun, apply a broad-spectrum sunscreen afterward.
    🧊 Storage
Because this homemade mixture contains fresh, water-based ingredients and no proper cosmetic preservative, make a small batch and keep it refrigerated in a clean, airtight container. Use it within a few days and discard it if the smell, color, or texture changes.
