π Ingredients
1 tablespoon pure aloe vera gel
1 tablespoon plain, unsweetened yogurt
1 teaspoon honey
1 teaspoon finely ground oat flour or colloidal oatmeal
Β½ teaspoon jojoba oil or sweet almond oil
2β3 drops vitamin E oil (optional)
π©βπ³ Instructions
Add the aloe vera gel and plain yogurt to a clean small bowl.
Add the honey and mix gently until the ingredients are completely combined.
Sprinkle in the finely ground oat flour little by little, stirring continuously.
Add the jojoba oil and, if desired, a few drops of vitamin E oil.
Mix until you have a smooth, creamy paste. If it feels too thick, add a few drops of water or additional aloe vera gel.
Before applying it to your neck or chest, perform a small patch test on an inconspicuous area and wait to make sure your skin does not react.
Cleanse the neck and upper chest with lukewarm water and gently pat dry.
Apply a thin, even layer of the mixture. Avoid the eyes, lips, broken skin, and any irritated areas.
Leave it on for approximately 10β15 minutes. Do not allow the mixture to become completely dry and tight on the skin.
Rinse gently with lukewarm water. Do not scrub or rub aggressively.
Pat the skin dry with a soft towel.
Finish with a gentle, fragrance-free moisturizer.
If using this during the daytime, apply broad-spectrum SPF 30+ sunscreen to exposed neck and chest afterward.
π‘ Helpful Notes
Make a fresh batch each time rather than storing the mixture.
Stop using it if you experience burning, itching, swelling, or significant redness.
Avoid adding toothpaste, baking soda, lemon juice, or other harsh household ingredients to a facial/neck mask, as they can irritate the skin.
Results from a homemade mask can vary; this recipe is primarily intended as a simple moisturizing/self-care routine.
