🥥 Golden Coconut Dough Balls

Ingredients
For the Dough:
3 cups (375 g) all-purpose flour
2 large eggs
¾ cup (180 ml) warm milk
½ cup (100 g) granulated sugar
¼ cup (60 g) melted butter
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 teaspoons baking powder
¼ teaspoon salt
For Frying:
4–5 cups vegetable oil, or enough for deep frying
For the Coconut Coating:
1½ cups (120 g) finely shredded unsweetened coconut
Instructions
In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, sugar, warm milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract.
Add the flour, baking powder, and salt gradually. Mix until a soft dough forms.
Transfer the dough to a lightly floured surface and knead gently for 3–5 minutes, until smooth and soft.
Divide the dough into small, equal-sized portions. Roll each portion between your palms to create smooth balls.
Heat the vegetable oil in a deep, heavy-bottomed pan to about 350°F (175°C).
Carefully place the dough balls into the hot oil in small batches. Fry for 3–5 minutes, turning them gently, until they puff up and become evenly golden brown.
Remove the fried balls with a slotted spoon and drain briefly on paper towels.
While still warm, roll each ball generously in the shredded coconut until completely coated.
Arrange on a serving plate and allow them to cool slightly.
