✨ Ingredients
1 teaspoon baking soda
1–2 teaspoons clean water
1 teaspoon plain, unscented moisturizer — optional, to make the mixture gentler and more moisturizing
🥣 How to Make It
Start with a small, clean bowl.
Add 1 teaspoon of baking soda.
Add the water a few drops at a time, mixing continuously.
Keep mixing until you get a smooth, soft paste. It should be easy to spread and should not be runny.
If you want a less drying mixture, you can mix in 1 teaspoon of a simple, fragrance-free moisturizer.
🧖♀️ How to Use It
Wash your face gently with lukewarm water and pat it dry.
Before applying it to your face, do a small patch test on an inconspicuous area.
If there is no irritation, apply a very thin layer to the face.
Avoid the eye area, eyelids, lips, and any cuts or irritated skin.
Leave it on for 1–2 minutes maximum the first time.
Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water.
Pat your skin dry without rubbing.
Finish with a gentle, fragrance-free moisturizer.
⚠️ Important Notes
Baking soda is alkaline and can be irritating or drying for facial skin. It isn’t a proven treatment for wrinkles, dark spots, or other skin conditions. If you experience burning, itching, swelling, or significant redness, rinse it off immediately and don’t use it again.
