🍩 Homemade Crispy Spiral Doughnuts

Ingredients
4 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup warm milk
2 large eggs
4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
1/3 cup granulated sugar
2 1/4 tsp instant yeast
1/2 tsp salt
2 tbsp powdered milk
1 tsp vanilla extract
Vegetable oil, for frying
Granulated sugar, for coating
👩‍🍳 Instructions
In a large bowl, combine the warm milk, sugar, and instant yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes.
Add the eggs, melted butter, vanilla extract, and powdered milk. Whisk until well combined.
Gradually add the flour and salt, mixing until a soft dough forms.
Knead the dough for 8–10 minutes, until smooth and elastic.
Cover the bowl and let the dough rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
Divide the dough into equal portions. Roll each portion into a long, smooth rope.
Shape each rope into a tight spiral, just like the photo. Tuck the end underneath to keep the shape secure.
Place the spirals on a lightly floured tray. Cover and let them rest for 15–20 minutes.
Heat vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C).
Carefully fry the doughnuts in batches for about 2–3 minutes per side, turning them until evenly golden brown.
Transfer them to a wire rack or paper towels to drain excess oil.
While still warm, gently coat them with granulated sugar.
Serve warm and enjoy these crispy, fluffy, irresistible spiral doughnuts! 😍
💡 Tip: Keep the oil around 350°F (175°C) so the doughnuts cook evenly without becoming too dark on the outside.
