Raspberry Ice Cream Recipe

Here’s a simple Raspberry Ice Cream recipe for you!

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups of fresh raspberries
  • 1 cup of heavy cream
  • 1 cup of whole milk
  • 3/4 cup of sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon of lemon juice (optional, for extra tang)

Instructions:

  1. Puree the Raspberries: Blend the raspberries in a food processor or blender until smooth. If you prefer a smoother texture, you can strain out the seeds using a fine mesh sieve.
  2. Mix the Ingredients: In a mixing bowl, combine the raspberry puree, heavy cream, whole milk, sugar, and vanilla extract. Stir until the sugar dissolves completely.
  3. Chill the Mixture: Place the bowl in the fridge for at least 1-2 hours, or until it’s well chilled.
  4. Churn the Ice Cream: Pour the chilled mixture into an ice cream maker and follow the manufacturer’s instructions for churning. Typically, this takes about 20-25 minutes.
  5. Freeze: Once the ice cream reaches the consistency of soft serve, transfer it to an airtight container and freeze for an additional 3-4 hours or overnight for a firmer texture.
  6. Serve: Scoop the ice cream into bowls and garnish with fresh raspberries on top.

Enjoy your homemade raspberry ice cream!
