Ingredients:

  • 1 (30 oz) bag frozen hashbrowns, thawed
  • 1 (10.5 oz) can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 (8 oz) container sour cream
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese (divided)
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Prepare the mixture: In a large bowl, combine the cream of chicken soup, sour cream, melted butter, 1 1/2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese, garlic powder, and chopped onion (if using). Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Add the hashbrowns: Add the thawed hashbrowns to the mixture and stir until everything is well combined.
