3-Ingredient Slow Cooker Chicken & Stuffing

There’s something especially comforting about dinners that remind you of family gatherings, church suppers, and quiet evenings at home. This 3-Ingredient Slow Cooker Chicken & Stuffing is one of those recipes that feels like a warm hug at the end of a long day. It’s the kind of meal you throw together in the morning, then forget about while the slow cooker works its magic.

As it cooks, the chicken becomes incredibly tender under a blanket of creamy soup, and the stuffing soaks up all those savory flavors, turning soft and rich without any extra effort. By dinnertime, the kitchen smells familiar and cozy, like a meal that’s been made this way for generations. It’s simple, filling, and perfect for busy days when you want comfort food without the fuss, using ingredients you probably already have in your pantry.

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 box (6 oz) stuffing mix
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup

Instructions

  1. Place chicken breasts in the bottom of the slow cooker.
  2. Spread cream of chicken soup evenly over the chicken.
  3. Sprinkle stuffing mix on top (do not add water).
  4. Cover and cook on LOW for 4–5 hours or HIGH for 2–3 hours, until chicken is tender and cooked through.
  5. Gently fluff the stuffing and serve.

Note:
For a little extra flavor, you can add a pinch of poultry seasoning or black pepper before cooking. If you prefer a creamier texture, stir in ½ cup sour cream during the last 20 minutes. This dish pairs perfectly with green beans, peas, or a simple side salad, and leftovers reheat well the next day.
